Platform bed
A platform bed that would fit under the bedroom window sill drove the customer’s request.

The general platform bed frame design was adopted from the industrial coffee table.(see industrial style coffee table )Chestnut timbers salvaged from an old garage’s roof rafters provided the inspiration for making the headboard a one-of-a-kind product. A white oak timber frame provided the structural rigidity to prevent the frame from flexing and creaking. Steam bent white ash brackets keeps the 12 inches tall legs rigid and wobble-free.
The platform bed is dry-assembled before finishing to ensure all knock-down connectors were properly aligned
